I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). I completed my PhD at USC's Bio-inspired Motion Lab where I was advised by Professor Eva Kanso. Before joining CSUN, I taught a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses at Santa Clara University.
My research combines physics-based models with data-driven approaches, specifically Reinforcement Learning, to study and control bio-inspired dynamical systems.
